GQC Environment Program, organised by Rajeev Joseph at Dubai in 2003


























'GQC Environment Program' was a city cleaning program, organized by Rajeev Joseph in Jeddaf Sea Port, Dubai on 3rd October 2003. The members of 'GQC Fine Arts' and the Students & Staff Members of Eminent Educational Istitute, Dubai participated in the program. The program was supported by Dubai Municipality and sponsored by Eminent Educational Institute, Dubai. Rajeev Joseph was the Chief Organiser of the program. Rajeev Joseph had organised an another cleaning program in a large scale at Jumeirah Beach, Dubai on 18th October 2003 with the support of United Nations & Dubai Municipality as a part of "Clean Up the World 2003".

Rajeev on 'Public Library Mission' : Five Star Library, Sharjah, UAE (An Overseas Branch of International Public Library, New Delhi)









Rajeev Joseph had initiated to form an organization called ‘International Public Library’, based in New Delhi, India, which is registered under ‘Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, Govt. of India on 20th September 1996. There are 11 members in the national committee from different states of India, and Rajeev Joseph is the President. The first and most important aims of the Library is to root out the illiteracy from the villages in India through well planned and organized projects of 25 years long term, so to lead the villages into a 100% literacy. To raise the initial funds for the library activities in India, the National Committee of Library decided that to open a public library in Sharjah with the support of NRIs. For this purpose, Rajeev Joseph migrated to UAE on Employment Visa in a Book Shop in Dubai on 31st October 2006 and he managed to find interested NRIs for the activities of International Public Library. With the support of NRIs in Dubai & Sharjah, he opened a Public Library in Sharjah, named ‘Five Star Library’ on 14th April 1998. Unfortunately, the library faced lot of financial crisis, but Rajeev managed to run the library for 3 and half years, then the library closed on 11th June 2001. Now Rajeev has already started the same 'International Public Library' activities in selected villages in India with the support of general public.

Rajeev Joseph on 12 Days 'Hunger Strike against Gulf War' at Boat Club, New Delhi in 1990








Rajeev Joseph conducted 12 days Hunger Strike to protest against Gulf War in 1990 in front of the Rashtrapathy Bhawan (House of President of India), New Delhi from 21st October to 29th October 1990. The Delhi Police stoped his strike on 29th but, he continued the strike till 1st November throughout his return journey to Kannur, Kerala by Train. It was the world's longest and only one Hunger Strike against Gulf War.

Rajeev on 'Cycling Aganist Drug Addiction' conducted in Delhi in 1988, organised by Lions Club (2)Nov 30, 2009



Rajeev Joseph and his friends Sebastian George & Jose Francis travelled by Bi-Cycle for 3 days throughout Delhi State against 'Drug Addiction' and they distributed leaflets in the schools, colleges. and public places. The event was organised by 'Lions Club of Delhi Kanishka' in 1988.

Rajeev on 'World Bi-Cycle Tour' to spread the message of 'World Peace', flagged off by Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, Former President of India in 1987-88























After the National Bi-Cycle Tour in India in 1985, Rajeev Joseph conducted a World Bi-Cycle Tour in 1988 and he travelled all the neigbouring countries of India, like Nepal, Bhutan etc. to spread the noble message of World Peace & Disarmament. The Bi-Cycle Tour was flagged off by Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, Hon'ble former President of India on 1st January 1998 at New Delhi. Rajeev Joseph represented different student unions in India like NSUI, SFI etc. and he presented the memorandum of World Peace to the world leaders of various countries during his cycle expedition. The journey was sponsored & supported by many organisations like Lions Clubs International, Rotary Clubs International, YMCA, International Students Unions, Don Bosco Institutions, Panjab & Sindh Bank etc.
